Josh Early is excellent chocolates! I purchase from them for holidays and special occasions. Today I purchased the dark chocolate purple nonpareils because they are going to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association if they meet their sales goal. Please purchase them and help us meet their goal. 💜

Want to start out by saying the staff at Josh Early have always been great and friendly. And I think it’s important that everyone should support local a business with history like this. However, I’ve seen over time the prices of their candy sky rocket. For example I paid $16 for a small bin of chocolate covered pretzels that were priced $4.99 for the same oz at a chain store. I gladly pay high prices for quality ingredients or organic items. But has anyone looked at the ingredients in their candy?! I get candy isn’t healthy but the ingredients were somehow worse than the cheaper candy from a chain store. This is about quality. The chocolate doesn’t appear to taste like much when compared to other small chocolate shops that use better ingredients. They also use multiple artificial dyes and preservatives known to be potentially harmful to our health. My question is simply how can you justify these prices if not even using quality ingredients.

We love coming here to get candies for special occasions, although they have something for any time of the year. Staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a lot of things to choose from and it smells amazing when you walk in the door. My whole house loves their chocolate. We recommend stopping in if you are in the area. It's hard to beat!

This place is so nice! I've been coming here occasionally over the recent years. I visited again on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025. I had accidentally spilled a container of candy on the floor. One of the ladies working there, named Claudia, was so nice and told me that I didn't have to pay for it. She didn't make me feel bad for the mess I made. I appreciate the people who work here! And the atmosphere is wonderful. I love how the place looks around Christmas. 🙂💚🎄❤️🤗
